Life on our smallholding

Winter flowers

Flowers in our gardens during winter are often short-lived and, usually, shades of white or yellow – the cream bristles of Sarcococca, the swaying bells of Galanthus or aged-Cellophane cups of Chimonanthus spring to mind.
