Update on bluetongue

During May Defra gradually extended the Protection Zone (PZ) as Intervet delivered vaccine much more quickly than expected. (Vaccine can only be used in the PZ.)

Member’s favourite

Beekeeping and Smallholding

Some six years ago we took the decision to buy a rather dilapidated eighht acre property with the dreams of self-sufficiency, the good life and our own space. Beekeeping came into the equation as we have a small orchard and it just seemed the right thing to do.

Avian Influenza
